The data
The data covers Trump's approval ratings across 13 demographic groups, comparing February 2025 and February 2026. Every single group moved in the same direction.
The process
I handed the dataset to Claude Code with a simple brief — make something interesting. What followed was a back-and-forth: CC proposed the structure, I reacted, we iterated. The dot plot with delta bars emerged through that conversation, not from a predefined template.
This is the workflow I'm trying to figure out — using AI to close the gap between having an idea and actually executing it.
